Suzi Blu's new iMac

I'm so excited! Suzi Blu got a new computer. She says she can do a lot more now. I can't wait for her first video. She also has iChat so she can paint online almost in person! Oh goodie goodie goodie, doing the happy dance.

Drawing Fairies

Fairies have my heart right now. I always love them but now I'm drawing them. Little girls with wings. Sprite, butterfly, or moth wings are all fair game to me.
I do the drawing in pencil, then when I color them in with colored pencils the lead smears, especially in the eyes I have this problem. Don't know what to do about it. It gets all muddy looking. That's all for now.

When is a page finished?

OK, I know I'm new at this but I have a problem. I did my first journal page and liked it. Every day I add something to it or cover up something that isn't right anymore. at this point I feel like all I could go on forever like this. Layers upon layers for....ever? When do you stop? When is good enough...good enough?

It is so much fun though, don't take this as complaining I love every minute of it. Suzi Blu you inspired me to start, now I need to know when to stop and turn the page.

I'm waiting for the new video from Suzi Blu. the first one made on the new Mac. I'm so excited you would think it's my video.

Visions of Art

This is a new area for me. Art is something that doesn't come naturally. The harder I tried the more it hurt when I had bad results. I was surrounded by natural artists. They saw color in a way I never did. They understood drawing and perspective. I was told on a number occasions that I'm "just not a nutural, but good at other things" and that was from my 7th grade art teacher. As a result I gave up and let the people around me make art.

The need to create didn't stop there. I could knit and sew and do most all fiber arts so I did that for many years. My heart was happy when I was creating...anything. It didn't matter what it was I had to create.

Last week I discovered the video clips made by suzi blu!!!!!!!!!! OMG I am so in love with her spirit and her message. Suzi Blu told me (me me me) that I can make art. Then she does amazing things like magic with drawings, paper, oils pastels, inks, glue, paints, canvas you name it she uses it. I love Suzi Blu.

I bought a journal to make art in it's so pretty. It was made in Napal with dried leaves and it has handmade paper in it. I love my art journal. I love making art. My heart sings and I have painted dreams.....thanks to Suzi Blu
